Comprehensive Moving Services
Moving can be overwhelming! There are many details involved in moving from one home to another, and we can handle all of it for you so that in a matter of a few days you’ll be comfortably settled in your new home, and ready to continue with your busy schedule. My team of experienced movers, organizers and cleaners will pack your belongings, move everything to your new home and unpack for you. In addition, we remove all the boxes and debris. All your dishes and kitchen items will be washed before being put away. Every cabinet and closet in your house will be organized. We’ll even stage your furniture and hang your artwork. Additional services are available to install garage storage shelving for optimizing available space. Do you have items in a storage unit? We’ll bring the contents to your new home and help you sort and organize according to your preferences. We’ll also arrange for donor items to go to families in need, and take your resale items to a reputable resale shop. Want to learn more? Home Staging
During the de-cluttering and home organizing process, you may be inspired to re-arrange furniture, freshen or change paint colors or make a few repairs or upgrades such as new cabinetry, carpeting or light fixtures. Sometimes, it’s as simple as adding a few colorful pillows to complete your new look. Vicki is happy to work with you on planning and implementing the steps to help you transform your space within your timeline and budget.
Stage-to-Sell
We all have personal preferences as to the appearance of our home (paint color, artwork, work space, etc). We often display possessions of sentimental value and these mementos sometimes add joy to our living space. However, if you’re planning to list your home for sale, these same items can prove to be a distraction to buyers.
Vicki works with YOUR furniture and home decor, sometimes recommending neutral paint colors, making repairs, “editing” items that may over-crowd the space, and adding a few items to accent your rooms. The goal is to quickly and economically achieve the desired style and appearance of the home so it will attract buyers searching for their next home. The results often lead to a faster sale and a higher price!
Estate Sale Preparation
Perhaps you’ve recently found yourself responsible for the sale of a loved one’s home. It may be nearby, or across the country. The unoccupied home may be vacant, or filled with furnishings and miscellaneous items.
Most people do not have the time to tackle the numerous challenges of preparing estate homes for sale. There may be items of value that need to be appraised and/or sold. Minor or major repairs may be needed. Items may need to be moved to another property, put into storage or donated. A “tag” sale may need to take place to sell some or all of the contents of the home prior to listing it. Vicki works with an assortment of local contractors to efficiently help you achieve your desired goal - working with you and your realtor in preparing the property for sale.
Home Organizing And Decluttering
Where to start? Sometimes the task is overwhelming. Sometimes you just simply don’t have the time to tackle it. Need help? Call or email Vicki for a free consultation. She’ll make suggestions and outline a strategy and timeline that fits your needs. Sometimes all that is needed is a couple of days of de-cluttering. Sometimes, the goal requires organizing many rooms of the house, and/or the garage and attic. Vicki works with the client on timing and cost. Some clients prefer to tackle the project all at once, and others like to spread it out, working on a different room every month. Every situation is different. Vicki can help you create and implement a plan to transform your place!
Maintenance Program
Once you’ve completed the process, you can begin to enjoy living in your fabulous space. Sometimes, clutter begins to slowly creep in again and one day you may realize that the space appears to look a bit (or a lot) cluttered. No worries! Vicki can return for a maintenance visit and restore order quickly. Be sure to reach out before your rooms get too far away from your desired appearance. An occasional maintenance visit may be the perfect solution!
